At F.S. Repair, we can service and rebuild your fleshing and shaving cylinders. As soon as your cylinder arrives a full inspection takes place. We use Heusch blades on all cylinders. Heusch blades are made of premium steel and have a superior hardening process which provides a better shave and longer blade life.

At F.S. Repair, we use soft copper instead of mild steel to secure the blades. Copper holds the blade better and chatter problems are reduced. We also utilize the latest Alpe reblading machine with electronic balancing to install the blades. This machine provides consistent speed and pressure throughout the reblading process and the benefit of electronic balancing will reduce vibration in the fleshers and shavers.

At F.S. Repair, we utilize a software program to track all cylinders that we have re-bladed. This will tell us the last time we re-bladed and the last time that bearings have been changed. Regular bearing changes are imperative for premature failure is not seen during the fleshing process.
